Ayaz Ismail — Creative Technologist & Educator
Ayaz Ismail is a creative technologist, musician, composer, and music producer, and educator working at the intersection of computation, interaction, sound, and extended reality. He is a full-time Professor of Visual Communication and Digital Arts & Design at Dallas College. His practice centers on research-through-making—building interactive systems that explore how humans think, feel, and perform through computational media. His work spans generative art, embodied interaction, gesture-driven sound, and immersive environments, treating code as both material and instrument. His work asks a central question: How can computation become expressive, physical, and human-centered?
